VI. Director’s Report

Director Heather informed the Commission that the Board of Finance meeting is tonight at 7 in the First Floor Conference Room of Town Hall.
Summer Plans are under way and there is a concern about the Community Service weeks due the fact that if they can’t fill a vacant position, this will not be offered.  Chili Fest was a huge success. 10 high school kids came to volunteer so Heather and others were able to hand out lots of info.  Museum of Tolerance Trip was rescheduled for  April 6 due to weather prediction.
Building topics are of a great concern.  There is talk of a fueling station going in by the out building.  They still have a request for siding of the building and paving the parking lot; Larry has ordered a new front door and frame; and in the works is the conversion to gas.
VII. Old Business
The Student Personal Achievement Award was discussed.  Names of nominees will be available for the May meeting for a vote.
Janet Temple will contact Heather to write up a request to go to the PHNB regarding the funds available for mental health services.
VIII. New Business
William reminded everyone that Les Mis will be at the High School the 12th, 13th and 14th
IX. Other Business
